## Key facts (from Enagic and the EPA, as given on Water 101)

- The Enagic® LeveLuk Jr IV has four solid platinum-coated titanium electrode plates and makes five water types,
  pH 2.5 to 11.5 overall.
- Enagic's pH for each: Strong Kangen Water pH 11 (not for drinking); Kangen Water® pH 8.5 to 9.5, in three levels
  (for drinking and cooking); Neutral Water pH 7 (filtered, without electrolysis); Beauty Water pH 4 to 6 (not for
  drinking); Strong Acidic Water about pH 2.7 (not for drinking).
- Electrolysis: at the negative plates water turns alkaline (hydroxide ions), at the positive plates acidic
  (hydrogen ions); a membrane keeps the two streams apart and they leave by the spout and a second hose.
- ORP (oxidation-reduction potential, in millivolts): tap water usually reads positive; freshly made Kangen Water
  reads negative and drifts back toward positive as it sits.
